In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Shivangi said that it was the story of Balika Vadhu that prompted her to give an immediate nod. The actress also opened up about not taking a break after quitting her last show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and how she never wants to forget Naira. Speaking about the character, Shivangi said that Anandi is a modern girl unlike the previous character. The actress will be sharing screen space with Randeep Rai and has also shot for its promo. Shivangi Joshi will soon be essaying the pivotal role of grown-up Anandi in the cult television show, Balika Vadhu's second season.
